H-Canada Calls Out Bloggers

I just saw this morning that H-Canada’s editors are adding “BLOG” as a new listserv tag. Ioana Teodorescu, the listserv editor, put out a call for short descriptions and links to blogs that are “useful for historians.” These don’t necessarily need to be related to Canadian history. I’ll post a couple today and I hope others will make a contribution.

It’s terrific to see H-Canada start this kind of project. While the H-Net listservs can host very interesting conversations about various subfields of history, there is a lot of excellent in-depth commentary and analysis on history blogs. Cliopatria’s History Blogroll has already indexed numerous history bloggers, but short announcements about new and interesting blogs through H-Canada will help broaden the audience.

If you have a blog you would like to suggest to H-Canada, visit their site at http://www.h-net.org/~canada/index_en.html
